For well over a decade, Clara Rose has captivated audiences with her stunning voice and original music that blends rockin' blues with rootsy folk. Armed with her acoustic guitar, Clara has shared stages with Celtic legends like The Horslips, Henry McCullough, The Waterboys, and Eleanor McEvoy, and this summer in the Olympia Theatre celebrating the life of guitarist supremo Pat Farrell. Her performances are nothing short of mesmerizing, with a voice that can make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. Eamon Carr of Dubliner Magazine perfectly describes her vocal prowess, noting how it “soars and swoops with the ease of an opera star running through her scales.”
Clara’s musical journey is as impressive as her performance resume. She holds a Bachelor of Music from N.U.I. Maynooth and a Music Therapy Masters from the University of Limerick, where she also studied at the Irish World Academy of Music & Dance. As if that’s not enough, she also boasts an All-Ireland Medal for Sean-Nós singing!
Her critically acclaimed debut album, "A Portfolio," showcases 12 tracks (10 originals) and has earned her national radio airplay, TV appearances, and a nationwide tour with her band. Clara Rose has graced some of Ireland's most iconic venues, including Whelan’s and Arthurs Blues & Jazz club, Dublin as well as Ireland’s top festivals from Rory Gallagher International Tribute festival, Monaghan Harvest Festival and Blues on the Bay, Warrenpoint.
