About

Where’s the “I” in Ireland? is a quirky mixture of a pub quiz, very serious lecture and scientific survey turned on its head. It explores ideas about identity and place as well as what it feels like to be (or become) Irish in unexpected and creative ways. Host Felix Power is joined by facilitator and Úibh Ráthaigh resident Claire Faithorn to guide the audience through a series of thought-provoking questions that only YOU know the answers to.

This lively but reflective event is open to everyone with any connection to Ireland, whether you are a recent arrival, visitor with Irish ancestory, can trace your family back here for many generations or any mix of the above… It is offered as a joyful but meaningful opportunity to anonymously reflect and begin to document what it feels like to be you, in this place, at this moment.

This is a FREE event, kindly funded by Creative Places Úibh Ráthaigh and The Arts Council
