Back in the 1980’s myself and Deko organised two mini festivals, Lets Get Serious 1 in the Ivy Rooms (now Fibber Magees) and Lets Get Serious 2 in the TV Club (now an insurance company!)

Both gigs were intended to bring local bands together with travelling bands… both ended up in Riots!!

So, over 40 years later, based on the postponement of Social Unrest, we are delighted to resurrect, for one night only, Lets Get Serious 2025 (this time without a riot)

So what are you in store for for a measly €20????

In no particular order of appearance and billing….

On the bill will be our friend and collaborator TV Smith, who will be performing songs from the Cheap album with Paranoid Visions as the band...along with some other songs!

TV Smith will also perform his incredible solo acoustic set.

The Coathanger Solution have been going from strength to strength over the past year or so, so they are a welcome addition particularly since they had to drop out of the Social Unrest Fest last August.

Possibly the best live band I’ve seen this decade, Yur Mum play for the first time in Dublin….miss these at your peril!!!

Molly Vulpyne Band, who already have a split single with Yur Mum, are ramping up activity for their next single (My Expiry) and the upcoming album Houndstooth and the Hum…which is getting several people quite excited!

Corks Easy Company, streetpunk as only Corkonians can do it… with a slight twist and musical diversion throughout the set, have just released their debut album and are only going in one direction….

And last but by no means least, Arcadian Shadows…also on the verge of releasing their debut album have been a mainstay in the scene for quite some time and get better with every gig
