Songwriter and mul0-instrumentalist David Geraghty is a founding member and driving force behind the band Bell X1.

Geraghty also released a number of solo albums. The debut, ‘Kill Your Darlings’ (2007), was received with cri0cal acclaim and was followed up in 2009 with the equally evoca0ve ‘The Victory Dance’.

2014 marked the first of two releases as ‘Join Me in the Pines’. The first is an album of brooding dark folk called ‘Inherit’. ‘Monomania’ in 2019 saw a startling shiU to a groove-based electro sound that has flashes of Prince, Gary Numan, Peter Gabriel, Nile Rodgers with reviewers commen0ng:

JMITP has opened for acts such as David Gray and Hall & Oates at Live At The Marquee, Cork and Iveagh Gardens, Dublin.

The next step in Geraghty’s musical trajectory sees a return to releasing as DAVID GERAGHTY, with a new album set for release in early 2026.
